Tuesday Thoughts and Updates

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday. It is election day in the United States with some big races on the line, a number of which will decide who controls the US Senate. On the weather front we have a couple areas that we are watching, first off there is an area of disturbed weather a couple hundred miles north of Puerto Rico, we could see low pressure form in this area over the next couple days and try to develop into something more, we will continue to watch this are closely. We also have a Hurricane in the Atlantic off the coast of Mexico. Hurricane Vance is weakening and currently is located approximately 75 miles East of Socorro Island with winds of 100 mph and moving NNE at about 12 mph. At this time there is a Tropical Storm Watch for Mazantlan northward to Topolobampo Mexico. That cruise ship that hit something in the Bahamas will be landlocked for a couple weeks, the 900 plus passengers got off with no injuries.
