Dominica, known as the natures island truly lives up to its name. Lush rain forests, 365 rivers, peaceful and serene. So far we’ve traveled from the town of Calibishie to the town Ports Mouth, enjoying all of the beauty and meeting the fabulous people.
Joey, Bob the Parrot and their camera crew are touring the island and having a blast!
Look for more posts and especially Carnival!

Dear Joey:
We are running a party at the Lazy Parrot Inn (http://www.lazyparrot.com) in Rincon Puerto Rico to raise money for genome research to save the most endangered parrot in the world: the Puerto Rican Parrot. You are cordially invited to attend.
Many people involved in the conservation and research will be there, as well as students from the UPR and the local community of Rincon (the surfing capital of the Caribbean). Here is the Facebook web-page of the event (http://www.facebook.com/events/170165456416929/) . We will be very happy to have you and your parrot with us. Please come, it will be fun.
Taras
P.S. We will help provide logistics and accommodation. You can find our credentials via the Facebook link (http://www.facebook.com/groups/203751923000444/).
