Tuesday Thoughts

Good morning everyone, hope your Tuesday is off to a good start. Checking the weather maps this morning, things are fairly quiet across the Atlantic, The Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico other than our normal showers and occasional thundershower. Again today we are tracking a storm over on the Pacific side. Tropical Storm Javier is weakening. The storm is located about 40 miles NW of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with winds of 45 mph and moving to the NW at about 7 mph. There are some Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings issued with this storm. The center of the storm should be near or over Baja, California Sur thru Wednesday. Expect 2-4 inches of rain with this storm with as much as 8 inches in some areas. Be on the lookout for Flash Flooding and Dangerous Mud Slides. One story in the news today I thought you might be interested in. A 4.8 magnitude earthquake was reported this morning around 6:15 am around Antigua and Barbuda, there were no reports of damage or injury. Well, that’s all for now, have a great day and keep checking back with us.
