Friday Thoughts

Good morning, hope your Friday is off to a good start. I know a lot of you are looking forward to the weekend. Joey and I will be packing for our trip to Orlando, Florida next week. Checking the weather maps for you this morning, the Atlantic and Caribbean are fairly quiet with no indication of any developing storms. There will be numerous scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms across the islands tonight however. The Pacific continues to be the busy are again today with two storms on the board. Hurricane Blaz is weakening rapidly, Blaz is expected to become a Tropical Storm tonight and a post tropical cyclone by Sunday. Blaz is currently 1320 miles W-SW of the southern tip of Baja, California with winds of 105 mph and moving W-NW at 10 mph. There are no coastal warnings or watches with this storm. On the other hand, Tropical Depression 4-E is getting better organized. Located 730 miles south of the southern tip of Baja, California, this storm has winds of 35 mph and is moving to the west at 6 mph. There are no coastal watches or warnings with this storm. We expect this storm to become a Tropical Storm later today. Remember, you can get complete updates and forecast details all weekend long on One Caribbean Television. In the news today, Delta and United airlines have been given permission to begin non stop flights to Havana Cuba beginning this fall from the US. Well, that’s all for now, we will be in Orlando next week but will be in touch when we return. Have a great weekend everyone.
