Tuesday Thoughts

Good morning everyone, we hope that your day is off to a good start. In case you haven’t looked at the calendar, today is the last day of May. Checking the weather maps this morning, Sun Tropical storm Bonnie is fading off the coast of South Carolina in the US. The storm is still providing rain to the region. Right now there are no other storms of concern. Across the Caribbean tonight we can expect more showers and occasional thunderstorms. In the news, the official start of the Atlantic hurricane season is tomorrow June 1st. According to the agencies that predict such things, this coming hurricane season should be very active with forecast increased rainfall and more flash flooding over the next six months. Predictions are for 10-16 named storms, 408 hurricanes and 1-4 intense storms. Remember, you can get complete forecasts and storm coverage on One Caribbean Television. If you are not currently receiving the station, call your local cable provider and ask them if they might add the station to your lineup. We, that’s all for now. Just a reminder that Joey and I will be taking some time off this Thursday thru June 19th. Have a great day everyone.
