Thursday Thoughts

Good morning everyone, hope your Thursday is going well. We have been talking about a low pressure in the Atlantic over the past several days, that disturbance has developed in Sub Tropical Storm Alex. This late season storm is strengthening and expected to affect the Azores tonight and Friday. The storm is currently located about 560 miles SSW of the Azores with winds of 70 mph and moving to the NNE at 16 mph. This storm will have no influence on the Caribbean. In the news, it is a big football weekend in the US as the NFL continues with their playoffs to see who will play in the 50th Super Bowl Feb 7th on CBS Television. Joey and I are Pittsburgh Steeler fans so we still have a chance. Preparations continue on a number of islands for their annual carnival season, the largest of those will be held in Trinidad. Joey and I will be in Curacao again to broadcast live during carnival week on One Caribbean Television. Well, that’s all for today, have a good one and keep checking back.
