Track Star Usain Bolt was recently voted the best male athlete in the Caribbean for 2015. In Puerto Rico the investigation continues on the policeman who shot and killed three of his collegues in Ponce. Well that’s all for now, have a great day everyone and check back with us again.

December 24, 2015

Good morning everyone. Well the day before the big day has arrived. Joey and I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and we hope you have a chance to spend it with your family. Joey and I are spending it with Joey’s family and his mother. Just a reminder that we will be working on Christmas day doing the weather reports on One Caribbean Television because even though it is a holiday, we are watching out for you and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Checking the weather maps today there are no major storms to report on and none developing that we see. Joey and I were watching NORAD which is the agency which tracks Santa and everything seems to be right on schedule. I know I am on Santa’s nice list this year, I don’t know about Joey however!!! LOL Well that’s all for now, I want to get home and put out some milk and cookies for Santa. Have a great day everyone!!

Wednesday Update

December 23, 2015

Good morning everyone, it’s hum day and only two more days till Christmas!!! Joey and I have been busily preparing and we will be working Christmas Day so you will see us on One Caribbean television. This is truly a beautiful time of the year, too bad there is some ugliness going on in the world. We sincerely hope that you have time to spend with your loved ones during the holidays. I was just checking the weather maps and we are good, no major storms out there and nothing developing either. I was thinking back on this past year, one of the big stories has to be the eased relations between the US and Cuba, this will benefit both countries in the long run. Another big story this past year was the damage done to the island of Dominica from that tropical storm. Just a reminder as we head toward 2016, if you are not currently receiving One Caribbean Television I hope you will make that call to your local cable provider and ask them if they might add it to your lineup. Well that’s all for now, have a great day everyone and keep checking back.

Tuesday Thoughts

December 22, 2015

Good morning everyone, hope your Tuesday is off to a good start. Checking the weather maps this morning, again there are no major storms to report on and nothing developing of concern. Winter has officially arrived in the northern hemisphere. In the news, a man from Venezuela was killed when attacked by a shark while clinging to a buoy after their boat capsized. Miss Trinidad and Tobago was delayed in China while returning from the Miss universe contest, apparently there was some problem with her luggage. Speaking of Trinidad and Tobago, their recent election got a good rating although the report said there can always be improvements. Well, that’s all for today, have a good one and keep checking back.

Monday Update

December 21, 2015

Good morning everyone, we hope you had a great weekend. Did you know that today is the shortest day of the year, and it is also the beginning of winter!!! Add to that the fact that Friday is Christmas and this will be a very busy week. Checking the weather maps this morning there are no major storms to report on and none developing that we can see. Hard to believe we are closing in on the end of another year. Looking forward to 2016, Joey and I will be traveling throughout the Caribbean and look forward to seeing our many friends. As we start the new year, I hope that you will contact your local cable provider and ask them to add One Caribbean Television to your lineup if you are not already receiving it so we can give you all the information you need to start your day, and keep you informed. In the news, quite an embarrassing moment for MC Steve Harvey recently when he announced the wrong winner in the Miss universe contest, I’m sure he will come out of it all right, he is a professional and everyone makes mistakes. Well, that’s all for today, have a good one and keep checking back with Joey and I.
