There will be scattered showers and an occasional thunderstorm for most of the Caribbean however. Just a friendly reminder that joey and I will be gone beginning tomorrow for a couple weeks. Also a reminder that you can get complete weather information and great Caribbean programming on One Caribbean Television. If you are not currently receiving the station, just call your local cable provider and ask them if they might add it to your lineup. In the news, Liat Airlines may soon be going to on line check in, this would cut down on some of the lines at airport counters This service would be only for passengers who are not checking bags. The United Nations recently voted in favor of lifting embargos against Cuba, the two no votes came again from the US and Isreal as they have done for years. Tuesday Thoughts and Updates

October 27, 2015

Good morning everyone, hope your Tuesday is off to a good start. Checking the weather maps this morning, things look pretty good, just some scattered showers and thunderstorms around but nothing to be concerned about. Out in the pacific we see tropical Storm Olaf, approximately 1290 miles ENE of Hilo Hawaii with winds of 45 mph and moving to the ENE at about 12 mph. There are no watches or warnings issued with this storm and all indications are that it will weaken over cooler waters. In the news, crews continue to look for the sunken ship off the coast of the Bahamas that happened a couple weeks ago during a storm as it was headed to Puerto Rico with supplies. The US continues to feel the wrath of Hurricane Patricia that rocked Mexico over the weekend. Heavy rains have been moving across the US from that storm. Well that’s all for now, have a great day and keep checking back with us.
