Wednesday Update

Good morning everyone, hope your Wednesday is going well. Just a reminder that Joey and I will be taking some time off beginning tomorrow and will be gone all next week. Checking the weather maps this morning, we find scattered showers and thunderstorms across the Caribbean. On the storm front, Tropical Storm Ida continues to be active in the Atlantic. This storm is approximately 1045 miles eats of the northern leeward idlands with winds of 40 mph and is moving to the south at 2 mph. There are no watches or warnings with this storm. In the news, Pope Francis is now in the United States. This is his first visit to the US. He will visit Washington, New York and Philadelphia. A little set back for Dominica as a Tropical Wave moved across the island earlier this week. Dominica is trying to recover from the damage caused by Tropical Storm Erika several weeks ago. Happy independence week to Belize as they celebrate this week in the country. Well that’s all for now, have a great day and we will see you when we get back.
