Wednesday Look at Erika

Good morning everyone and happy hump day!! Well, the big storm continues to be Tropical Storm Erika, at the time of this writing she is located approximately 540 miles East of Antigua with winds of 45 mpg and moving West at 17 mph. The center of the storm could move over or near portions of the Leeward Islands tonight and near the Virgin Islands on Thursday. We are looking for 2-4 inches of rain with as much as 8 inches in some areas for portions of the Leeward Islands, Virgin islands and Puerto Rico on Thursday and Friday. Right now we have tropical Storm Warnings for the following….Anguilla, Saba and St Eustatius, St Maarten, Montserrat, Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis, Puerto Rico, Vieques, Culebra, Us Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands….Tropical Storm Watches are issued for Guadeloupe, St Martin and St Berthelemy.
