Friday Updates

Good morning everyone, thanks for checking back with us. As we check the weather maps we find no major storms to report on today. Again, as always you will find some scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms around the Caribbean. We will also continue to watch a low pressure off the coast of Mexico that could develop into something stronger over the weekend. In the news the big story is the raising of the US flag over the embassy in Cuba, it has been 54 years since the flag has flown. Former Trinidad football player David Nakhid has thrown his hat into the ring to head the FIFA organization. For the kids, Sesame Street is moving from PBS to HBO, shows will be produced on HBO and then seen 9 months later on PBS. Carnival continues in Cuba, it is not as big as some of the carnivals of the Caribbean but still very beautiful. Well that’s all for now, have a great weekend everyone.
