Thursday Thoughts and Updates

Good morning everyone, Bob the Parrot here, hope you are all having a good day. Checking the weather maps this morning we are fairy quiet with the exception of the Pacific ocean where we now have Tropical Depression 7-E. This storm is located about 430 miles SW of the Southern tip of Baja California with winds of 35 mph and is moving to the NNW at 9 mph. There are no coastal watches or warnings with this storm. All indications are that this storm will remain over water and will not effect coastal areas of Mexico. In the news, Jamaica scored a big win over the US yesterday in soccer2-1, they were playing each other in the Gold Cup Tournament, they will now play Mexico in the final match. Don’t forget carnival Week begins next week July 30th on One Caribbean Television and runs through August 3rd. If you don’t currently receive One Caribbean Television, call your local cable provider and ask them if they might add it to your lineup. Good news for Haiti, they are up 9% over last years first 4 months in stay over visitors. Granada has added a new sculpture to its underwater sculpture garden, it’s called the nutmeg princess.Well that’s all for now, have a great day everyone.
