Monday Update

Good morning everyone, hope you had a nice weekend. Joey and I were in New York City last Friday for the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry meeting as part of Caribbean week in new York. Checking the weather this morning, there are two areas worth watching. There is a broad area of low pressure over the south central Gulf of Mexico with disorganized showers and thunderstorms, this system will move to the northwest over the next couple days and should bring some heavy rain to Louisiana in the US. This system could develop into a tropical depression or a tropical storm. Meanwhile over in the Pacific, Tropical Storm Carlos is a compact storm moving parallel to the southern coast of Mexico. This storm has winds of 70 mph and is moving W-NW at 6 mph. The storm is located approximately 75 miles south of Lazaro Cardenas Mexico. There are several Hurricane watches that have been issued. Well that’s all for now, have a great day everyone.
