Wednesday Updated

Hey everyone, happy hump day. As mentioned in earlier posts, Joey and I will be gone starting tomorrow for several weeks for some vacation and some work in Puerto Rico. Checking the weather today, there are no major storms of concern out there today. In the news, Montserrat has launched a new web sight to promote their island and inviting visitors to see the green side and the gritty side of the small island. I saw a report the other day on island accidents caused by tourists driving for the first time on the islands they visit. Drivers should always know the rules of the road and follow them while visiting. Well that’s all for now, have a great day and keep checking back.

Tuesday Thoughts

Good morning everyone, hope your Tuesday is going well. Checking your weather maps this morning there is nothing out there of concern but we will continue to watch and monitor the situation for you. If you are not currently receiving the station, call your local cable provider and ask then to add it to your lineup. In the news, most of the public transportation in Haiti continues to be down due to strikes in protest of government gas prices. Good morning everyone and happy Monday. Joey and I hope you had a really nice weekend. Checking your weather maps as we start the new week there are no developing storms to report on. This will be a short week for Joey and I, we are leaving Thursday for some vacation time including a couple days in San Juan Puerto Rico for some business. In the news, Liat Airlines are banning e cigs from checked baggage because they could pose a fire hazard. San Juan Puerto Rico was the sight of the Puerto Rican Open golf tournament this weekend, a golfer from Germany was the big winner. The 37th annual Corona Surf Championship took place this past weekend in Rincon Puerto Rico. Well that’s all for this Monday, have a great day everyone and keep checking back.

Thursday Thoughts

Good morning everyone, we hope your Thursday is going well and thank you for checking back with us. Looking at the weather maps today we find no severe weather or storms to report on. In the news, The Dominican Republic in Haiti has closed their embassy for awhile because of attacks from Haitians. The Dominican republic says they will open again when they can be guaranteed safety for the workers. Another major drug lord has been arrested in Mexico as the government continues to crack down on the drug trade coming out of the country. A group of students from a New Hampshire college in the US currently studied and toured in Cuba as relations continue to ease between the two countries. Wednesday Updates

Good morning on this hump day Wednesday, hope all is well with you. I was just over at the weather center with Joey checking the weather maps and I am glad to say there are no pending storms out there that we are concerned with today, be assured that we are constantly watching for developing storms and will let you know if anything develops. Tourist season across the Caribbean is in full swing with many crew ships being seen in Caribbean ports. The extremely cold temps in North America is certainly helping the season. In the news, several US businessmen are touring a Cuban sugar processing plant as the US and Cuba look for ways to do business with one another. Speaking of Cuba, American late night show host Conan O’Brien takes his show on the road tonight to Cuba for a historic broadcast. US President Joe Biden has completed talks with Central American Presidents on how US can help those countries so that their people won’t want to migrate away from the countries. This weekend will be the large Belize river race which draws hundreds of canoe teams. Well that’s all for now, have a great day everyone .

Tuesday Thoughts

Good morning everyone and thanks for checking back with us on this Tuesday. Looking over the weather maps this morning we don’t see anything of concern, however be assured we will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if anything does develop. Looking forward to this month, Joey and I will be in San Juan Puerto Rico on the 26th and 27th for business, we always enjoy going to see our friends in Puerto Rico. In the news, The Dominican Republic is reporting that four members of the same family drowned near Punta Conta. Good news for American tourists to Cuba, Master Card says they can now use their cards for the first time. US Vice President Joe Biden is in Guatamala to discuss limiting the young people who are migrating to the US. Well that’s all for now, have a great day and keep checking back.

Good morning everyone, hope you had a good weekend. We also are ushering in a new month. In weather there are no major storms to report on as we start the wee. In the news, talks continue between the US and Cuba on the sale of Cuban cigars in the US. Cuba believes they could have a large number of cigar smokers in the US when those embargos are lifted. The world’s best 10k in San Juan Puerto Rico took place this past weekend, it was a huge success again this year. One Caribbean Television was on the scene filing reports.
