Thursday Thoughts

Good morning and happy Thursday to you all. Just a reminder that Joey and I will be away tomorrow but we will be back with you on Monday. Checking the weather maps today there are two areas that we are watching. First, we have a low pressure moving West from the Northern Virgin Islands producing a large area of showers and thunderstorms. Second we have Tropical Depression 21 E off the coast of Mexico in the Pacific. This storm is located approximately 410 miles South of Acapulco Mexico with winds of 35 mph and is moving to the West at 6 mph. There are no coastal watches or warnings yet with this storm. A couple dozen immigrants from Cuba were rescued off the coast of Florida this week, they will be returned to their country. Speaking of Cuba a large medical seminar was held recently in the island, Ebola was the main topic. Cuba has been the leader in sending volunteers to fight Ebola abroad. Don’t forget, hurricane season ends November 30th in the Atlantic. You can get all your daily updates on any potential storms at One Caribbean Television.
