Friday Updates

Good morning and T.G.I.F. As we head into another weekend there are no major storms in the Atlantic, Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico. Over in the Pacific however we have tropical Storm Simon that could develop into a Hurricane by Saturday. Currently located about 325 miles SSE of the Southern tip of Baja, California, this storm has winds of 50 mph and is moving West at about 7 mph. There are no coastal watches or warnings as of now. This storm should pass over or near Socorro Island today. Don’t forget that Joey and I will be gone for a couple weeks beginning on Monday Oct 6th. Just a reminder if you and your family are not receiving One Caribbean Television, make sure to call your cable provider and ask them if they would add it to your lineup. Well it looks like they will not be filming the 5th Pirates of The Caribbean movie in the Caribbean, it has been announced they will be filming in Australia. Apparently they paid some big money to get the rights. Well that’s all for today, have a great weekend everyone, we will see you in a couple weeks.
