Wednesday Updates

Good morning everyone and happy hump day. Well, we have reached the mid point of the week and we are headed for the weekend. Looking over the weather maps this morning, we are still watching an elongated low pressure several hundred miles east of the southern windward islands that is moving to the W-NW at 10-15 mph, folks in the lesser antillies and the northeast Caribbean sea should continue to monitor this disturbance. We also have a tropical wave in the atlantic about 1000 east of the lesser antillies with disorganized showers and thunderstorms, this system is moving W-NW at 10 mph. Over in the pacific we have Tropical Storm Lowell about 775 miles WSW of the southern tip of Baja, California, this storm has winds of 50 mph and is moving NW at 5 mph, there are no current watches or warnings with this storm. News from the cricket world, West Indies coach Otis Gibson has been fired, they are looking for a new coach. There is some concern for the Gulf of Mexico where a flesh eating virus has shown up in some testing. Well that’s all for now, have a great day everyone and keep checking back.
