Thursday Thoughts and Updates

Good morning everyone, Bob The Parrot here. It is a busy day again in the One Caribbean Television weather center. We are tracking two storms for you today. The first storm is Hurricane Arthur located about 300 miles SW of Cape Hatteras North Carolina. This is a category 1 Hurricane with current winds of 80 mph. This storm is moving NNE at 9 mph. Hurricane warnings have been issued for Surf City, North Carolina, Pamlico Sound, and Eastern Albemarle Sound. The second storm we are watching is over in the Pacific. Tropical Storm Douglas is weakening. It is currently located about 455 WSW of the southern tip of Baja California with winds of 40 mph and moving to the NW at 3 mph. There are no coastal watches or warnings issued. I should point out that neither storm has or will have any effect on the Caribbean. We will continue to watch and monitor the storms and report back right here. Remember you can also follow all the coverage on One Caribbean Television. That’s all for now, have a great day everyone.
