Monday Mumblings From Bob

Good morning, I hope you all had a great weekend. Joey and I watched our beloved Pittsburgh Steelers go down in flames again this weekend so we are not starting the week on a happy note. Getting to the weather, we are watching a couple things on this Monday. First we have Tropical Storm Sonia over on the Pacific side. This storm is currently 30 miles SE of Calican Mexico with winds of 35 mph and moving to the N-NE at 9 mph. There are no watches or warnings with this storm presently. Over in the Caribbean we have a broad and weak area of low pressure over the Central Caribbean that is producing a disorganized area of showers and thunderstorms. This system will be moving W-SW over the next couple days but right now looks like a low chance of developing into anything. That’s it for now, have a great day and keep checking back.
