Finally Friday

Good morning everyone and TGIF….Bob The Parrot here, thanks for checking back. Well as we head to the weekend, Joey and I are watching a couple systems. There is a weak troph of low pressure currently in the northern gulf of Mexico that is producing a disorganized area of clouds and thunderstorms. This low will continue to move to the west at about 10 miles per hour, continuing to bring clouds and rain to the northern and northwestern gulf. There is a low chance of this developing into a tropical cyclone over the next five days but we will continue to watch and monitor it. We are also watching tropical depression #9 which is currently 560 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas Mexico. This system has winds of 35 miles per hour and is moving to the northwest at 7 miles per hour. There are no watches or warnings with this system right now. Interests in southern Baja California should monitor this storm. All indications are that the storm should stay away from land for at least a couple days, again we will continue to watch this storm and keep you updated. Remember you can get complete storm detail at One Caribbean Television. If you don’t currently receive this station, call your cable operator and ask them if they would please add it to your lineup. Well that’s all for now, have a great weekend everyone and keep checking back.
