Hurricane Countdown

November 29, 2012

Hi everyone, Bob The Parrot here…hope your Thursday is going well, things are quiet on the weather scene but we will continue to watch and monitor the situation for you. We are counting down the 2012 Hurricane Season that officially ends at the end of November, right now it looks like it will go out quietly. I was looking ahead on Joey’s and my schedule and I see that the Caribbean Cable Operators will be having their meeting this year in Bermuda, the dates for that meeting will be January 22-24, 2013….sounds like a great time and I know Bermuda will be a great host. Well, that’s all for today, please keep checking back and have a great day.

Wednesday Update

November 28, 2012

Good morning everyone, hope your Wednesday is going well. Hey, congratulations to Usain Bolt for being awarded the male athlete of the year award again, I believe this is the third or fourth time he has received the award. It was sad to see the pictures of the wake for Hector Camacho in Puerto Rico…only a couple more days left in November and the end of the 2012 Hurricane Season…it can’t come soon enough. Remember you can join me on Facebook at Bob TheParrot…I would love to hear from you. Also, a reminder to join Joey and me on One Caribbean Television…if your cable company is not carrying the channel pleases give them a call and ask them if they will add it. Have a great day everyone and please keep checking back.

Hurricane Season Winds Down

November 27, 2012

Good morning everyone, Bob The parrot here…I hope you all are having a good day. I was just looking at the calendar and realized that the official end of the 2012 hurricane season is only four days away. It has been an active season with some major storms this year but I don’t need to tell you that especially if you were in the path of any of this past season’s storms! There are no major storms out there right now and really doesn’t look like any possibilities thank goodness. That’s all for now, have a good one and please keep checking back. See you on One Caribbean Television.

Back From Some R & R

November 26, 2012

Hey everyone, Bob The Parrot back in the old weather center…Joey and I took some much needed R & R last week, I hope we were missed. Things are quiet weatherwise as we start the week. I was saddened to hear of the death of boxer Hector Macho Camacho, Joey and I enjoyed watching him box. We are sorry for the people of Puerto Rico….enjoy the day everyone and keep checking back.

Wednesday Update

November 14, 2012

Hello everybody, Bob The Parrot here, I wish I had some exciting news for you but the day is starting out rather dull. I guess it’s that time of the season where things are just laid back. Joey and I will be off next week to visit with some family and friends. I want to remind everyone that you can catch us on One Caribbean television…if your cable provider doesn’t carry our show I certainly hope that you will contact them and ask them to add it to your lineup…it never hurts to ask. Also, for you who don’t already know, you can be a facebook friend of mine at Bob TheParrot. I hope you all have a great day and keep checking back from time to time.

Is It Tuesday Already?

November 13, 2012

Hi everyone, Bob The Parrot here…I can’t believe it is Tuesday already, where do the days go??!! Things are quiet today so far, no major storms to talk about. Things are starting to pick up in the Caribbean with more tourists starting to head south with the colder weather up north. Many of the islands are starting to see more crew ships more frequently which is always a good thing. I understand Puerto Rico elected a new governor, congratulations and good luck to him. Not much happening as we wind down 2012 but keep checking back with us and have a great day.

Another Week

November 12, 2012

Hi everyone, Bob The Parrot here, hope you all had a great weekend…funny how they quickly pass!! LOL Things are fairly quiet weather wise as we start the week and that is always a good thing. It won’t be long until the Turks and Caicos have their annual Conc festival…November 23 and 24th I believe….should be a great time. More and more crew ships are beginning to make their way back to the Caribbean as we get into the season, I know how much the islands love to see the crew ships arrive….make it a good week folks and please keep checking back.
