Good morning and happy Wednesday. Thanks for checking back. In sports the Miami Heat just edged the San Antonio Spurs last night to send the NBA finals to a winner take all game 7. Weather wise we still have a Tropical Depression #2 that has entered the Bay of Campechi and continues to lay down heavy rains for the region. Portions of Guatamala, Southern Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula should be on the lookout for flash flooding and mud slides. Keep checking One Caribbean Television for continued updates, and remember if you don’t get the station, contact your cable provider and ask them if they would add it to your service. Tuesday Thoughts

Hello and good morning everyone, Bob The Parrot here enjoying a cup of coffee while I peck out a few thoughts on this Tuesday. On the weather front we are still watching tropical Depression #2 that is moving across Central America. This system should bring some heavy rains to places like Belize, Guatamala, Honduras, and portions of Eastern Mexico as it moves towards the Bay of Campeche. Be on the lookout for some flash floods and dangerous mud slides. The Governor of Puerto Rico has been voicing some strong opposition to Puerto Rico statehood with the US…that saga continues. Jennifer Lopez is getting a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, congratulations to her. That’s all for today, have a great one and please keep checking back.

Hey everyone, Bob The Parrot here, hope you all had a great weekend. Checking the weather this morning there is a Tropical Wave off Honduras and the Northwest Caribbean Sea that may move inland across Belize and the Yucatan Peninsula by tomorrow, this would put it into the Bay Of Campeche. There is about a 40% chance of this system turning into a Tropical Cyclone in the next 48 hours. We are looking for some heavy rain and gusty winds in portions of Honduras, The Bay Islands, Guatamala, Belize and Eastern Mexico over the next day or two. We will continue to monitor this storm. If you can keep checking One Caribbean Television for complete coverage…if you don’t get One Caribbean Television, call your cable provider and ask them to add it to your cable lineup. IN sports, San Antonio beat the Miami Heat last night and take a 3-2 lead in their championship series in the NBA. Just a reminder that Caribbean week in Toronto will be taking place June 23-28, this is a huge event.Well that’s all for now, keep checking back and have a great day.

Good morning everyone….TGIF. Bob The Parrot here to tighten up a few loose ends as we head to the weekend. In sports last night, Miami defeated the San Antonio Spurs to bring the series even in the NBA finals at 2-2. I read an article this morning that Chloe Mccardel the Australian girl that tried to swim from the Florida to Cuba without a shark cage will not try the swim again. She was pulled from the water on Thursday with numerous jellyfish bites. On the weather front, there are no new storms developing that would influence the weekend, keep checking One Caribbean Television or here on the web for the lates updates on storm potential. Looking forward to the weekend, I think Joey is going to try in get in some golf time. The Carnival Triumth is on it’s way to Mexico, she is the ship that broke down in the gulf you might remember.The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt of Jamaica broke another world record in his latest race in Norway, in his firs 200 meter race of the season he ran under 20 seconds!!! Good Thursday morning everyone, thanks for checking back with us. Bob The Parrot here with some thoughts on this Thursday morning. NBA finals tonight, San Antonio holds a 2-1 edge over Miami Heat. Word has it Tony Parker may not play because of a leg injury. Checking the weather maps this morning, no major storms developing. Checking the Caribbean calendar, Saint Eustatius is having Hugycup from June 16 to the 27th. You might also want to make plans to attend Caribbean week in Toronto Canada from June 23 to 28th, this is always a huge event. Just a reminder, if something special is going on where you live, drop us a line and we will make sure it gets on the community calendar. The young lady that was trying to swin between Cuba and the Florida Keys without a shark cage or a wet suit has been taken out of the water because of numerous jellyfish bites. Don’t forget you can also join me on facebook at Bob TheParrot….News from around the Caribbean…Curacao has a new Prime Minister, his name is Ivar Asjes, he replaces Daniel Hodge and becomes the 4th Prime Minister in the islands history. Good morning and good Tuesday, Bob The Parrot here with my sidekick Joey Stevens. On the weather front, there are no major storms developing so today will see just the usual showers and occasional thunderstorms that we usually see. A As we continue into the current hurricane season, it would be a good idea to be prepared in the event of a storm. Water, food, flashlights, batteries, special needs like baby food, a medical kit, these are just some of the supplies that should be included. Looking on the Caribbean calendar, The Trade and Investment Convention in Trinidad and Tobago will take place June 12-15. In sports Justin Gatlin from the US beat Usain Bolt in a race last week in Rome. Storms continue to be a problem in the US, a twister in Kentucky last night caused considerable damage. Good morning everyone, Bob The Parrot here, hope you all had a great weekend. Now that I got my batteries charged I am ready to take on a new week. Had a chance to speak with Kara Coleman this morning, she just got back from the Invest Caribbean Forum in New York City and she says it was a huge success. I was watching the NBA finals last night, the Miami Heat beat up on San Antonio to even that series at 1-1. Joey was checking the weather this morning and tells me there are numerous showers and thunderstorms around the Caribbean and Central America, but no big storms to report so let’s hope it is a quiet week. Looking around the Caribbean, The 6th International Aruba Piano Festival continues until June 15th, The Caribbean Investment Forum concludes tomorrow in Trinidad and Tobago and the Bermuda Captive Conference will end on Wednesday.Well that’s it for today, keep checking back and have a wonderful day.

Hello everyone, Bob The Parrot here with my buddy Joey Stevens. Great news for air travelers, a flight between Jamaica and Guyana will soon be a reality, anyone who travels the Caribbean knows that air travel can be a chore. Sports fans….The San Antonio Spurs beat the Miami Heat last night in the first game of the NBA finals, and they did it on Miami’s home court!! The Invest Caribbean forum in New York City has ended and from all reports it was a huge success. On the weather front Andrea is a US storm as it moves toward South Carolina, as far as the Caribbean is concerned there is a low pressure about 700 miles East of the Lesser Antillies but we don’t think this will be a problem, however we will continue to watch it.
