Happy New Year!

December 30, 2008 by onecaribbeanweather

I’ve made a resolution not to talk on the show again this year.

Managment has ask Joe to do the show again in 2009 – acutally, they want him to do the show until he gets it right.

I’ve learned something from sitting on Joey’s right shoulder the past few years…he has hair in his right ear! Yikes!

I really like cockatoos – they got that mohawk thing going – quite retro!

I knew who the new US president was going to be – anytime I was asked a questions I replied, “BA-RAAAK”

Happy Holidays!

November 20, 2008 by onecaribbeanweather

The official hurricane season ending on November 1st.  Boy, am I glad! Those storms really ruffle my feathers!

When I travel north during the winter I have a hard time with the cold temperatures.  Ever seen a parrot wearing a fur coat?

I hear the national bird for the island of Dominica is a parrot.  I always knew those folks were smart!

During the rainy season in Costa Rica, all my relatives stay inside and watch TV.  Their favorite show is the Caribbean Weather Show.

As you may or may not know, most birds fly south for the winter. I can honestly say I have friends on all the Caribbean islands.

I am really looking forward to the holidays, I just love rum eggnog.

Can someone please explain why Joey and Captain Ron keep looking at me funny around Thanksgiving?

Bob’s Halloween Messages

October 21, 2008 by onecaribbeanweather

I went to Captain Ron’s house this Halloween; he always gives away pretzels and beer!

I can’t wait for Halloween; I’m going door to door as myself with a small Joey doll on my shoulder

Joey said I can give away candy on Halloween night. I have a great system – give one, edat one, give one, eat one…

Captain Ron let me stay at his house last weekend; I always enjoy that because he passes out and I can watch whatever I want on TV

I went with Joey and Captain ron to the bar the other night I was the designated driver!

People say I work for peanuts – that’s a lie; I work for crackers!

Update 9/29/08

September 29, 2008 by onecaribbeanweather

Bob’s take on Rum…there are no bad rums; some are just better than others!

When I’m in the hot tub, I like it HOT! HOT! HOT!

Sometimes Joey ruffles my feathers but most times we get along

I once heard someone refer to Joey and I as Beauty and The Beast. I hate it when they refer to Joey as a beast!

I need a good 23 hours of sleep a dayt.  Yes, I often sleep through the show.  I’ve seen the tapes, I think Joey is asleep also most days!

You don’t have to call me Bob, you can call me Robert, you can call me Roberto – I probably won’t answer but you can still call me by those names.

People often ask me why I don’t talk on the show.  Simple.  I don’t have anything to say.

Thanksgiving is coming soon, I wonder why Joey and Captain Ron have been looking at me funny lately.
