Hey good morning everyone, Bob The loveable Parrot here with my sidekick Joey Stevens. Not a whole lot happening today, at least for now it is off to a slow start. We have been going through the process of getting our press credentials for Barbados Crop over coming up the first of August. We are really excited about going because we have been invited many times but have never been there for the carnival. We have however been to Barbados numerous times and love it there. I have had the opportunity to look over about three projections for the upcoming Hurricane Season and everyone seems to think it will be more active then normal….we can only wait and see!! When you see the pictures of the Oklahoma Tornados the other day it is a wonder more people weren’t killed, it was a monster. Well, that’s all for now, please keep checking back and have a wonderful day.
Mid Week Thoughts
May 22, 2013Monday Mumblings
May 20, 2013Good morning everyone, Bob The Parrot here. Joey and I hope you had a great weekend. Things are fairly quiet this morning, this will be a short week for us since Joey has to go to Michigan on Friday for his sister’s son’s wedding. Weather wise things are fairly quiet, we aren’t far from the official beginning of Hurricane Season on June 1st. Did you hear that there was one winning ticket in the Power Ball Lotto, someone in Florida won nearly 600 million dollars!!! That winner has yet to come forward. Accu- Weather a large forecaster of weather in the US has agreed with some forecasts already out that this will be an above normal season with 8 Hurricanes predicted. The Preakness Horse Race over the weekend was well represented by the Caribbean with jockeys from the US Virgin Islands and The Dominican Republic. The jockey from the US Virgin Islands placed 5th. Don’t forget if you have any events happening in your area send us an email so we can let everyone know. That’s all for now, have a great day everyone.
As Always TGIF….
May 17, 2013Good morning everyone, Bob The Parrot here with a few comments to end this week. If you weren’t with me yesterday, predictions are showing an active Hurricane Season beginning on June 1st. We were already reporting a Tropical Storm in the Pacific yesterday named Alvin. Some reports I was looking at the other day are painting a rosy picture for travel to the Caribbean in the years ahead. I know you folks in the Caribbean are concerned with Hurricanes, however a number of killer Tornados moved through Texas on Thursday…mother nature shows no favorites!!! For you sports fans, David Beckham, one of the best soccer players currently playing has announced his retirement, he is 38 years old and wants to spend more time with his family. Puebla Mexico continues to be on alert with a large volcano threatening to erupt. Well that’s all for today, Joey and I hope you have a great weekend and please keep checking back.

If you didn’t check in yesterday, predictions for the updcoming Hurricane Season are calling for 18 named Tripical Storms, 9 of those are predicted to become Hurricanes while 4 of those will be major Hurricanes…let’s hope the predictions are wrong!!!
